The Denver School of the Arts Orchestra Program

offers a rigorous pre-conservatory, project based curriculum which includes daily rehearsals in large and small ensembles, music theory and musicology classes, in cooperation with other DSA music departments, and various assignments designed to expose students to an array of music careers and performance opportunities. Inter-arts projects with other departments at the school are encouraged and fostered as a means of developing an adept and adaptable collaborative artist.

The OFA is our parent support organization. There are many ways to aid and participate in this organization. Please join with other parents who realize the far-reaching potential of the arts and take advantage of the synergy created by sharing a common educational philosophy. This organization ensures the future of quality music education for your child and her/his fellow artists.
