Visiting Artists Program

The Visiting Artists Program is a crucial aspect of the DSA Orchestra ex-perience. This enrichment program distinguishes DSAO from other public school orchestra programs.

Each year we call in visiting artists, conductors and coaches to enhance the instruction of all orches-tra students by working with small groups or sectionals throughout the year. To fully develop the musicianship of each student, it is essential that they have the opportunity to work with a variety of diverse visiting artists. This years’ guests include Kenji Bunch, Steven Byess, Erik Peterson and The Moscow String Quartet among others.

We are counting on your support! This program requires approximately $18,000 each se-mester to become fully funded. Funds for this program come primarily from the recommended contribution of $250.00 per family.

We are grateful for all that you can do to help the students become the bests artists they can be. Please encourage your friends and extended family to contribute as well!

Your contribution will help insure that your student will have the enriched musical instruction s/he deserves. Any and all amounts are appreciated and are tax deductible (you will receive a re-ceipt for your donation). Checks should be made out to Denver School of the Arts Orchestra and can be accepted at concerts at the bake sale table or mailed to the address below.
