is the most important way you can help the OFA and the Department of Orchestra. Keeping our shows and other events fully staffed depends greatly on your help. Upcoming volunteer opportunities are listed below. Check back periodically as more events and opportunities will be added. Please sign-up, as the saying goes: early and often. Event Volunteer Descriptions

• Box Office - OFA runs the box office for each performance of the orchestra concert season. Volunteers who sign up will be doing the actual work of selling tickets and distributing those in will call each evening with the support of the DSA box office manager and OFA Box Office Team Leader.
• Ushers - Usher responsibilities include checking tickets; disturbing programs and helping audience find their seats.  After show, check concert hall for trash and recycle programs.
• Concessions - Volunteers for concessions are responsible for set-up, clean up and concession sales during the evening of assigned night.
• Backstage - Volunteers for backstage provide monitoring assistance during concerts.  This includes making sure students are prepared for event and securing backstage rooms with support from DSA faculty.
• Food/Supply Donations - Volunteers provide donations for events.  This may include single serve snacks, dessert items, drinks, ice and paper goods.  These items should be delivered a minimum of half an hour before event.
